Intracranial haemorrhage

This service treats cranial conditions involving diseases of cerebral blood vessels.

The greatest proportion of the work is treating patients with sub-arachnoid haemorrhage from ruptured aneurysms. Other conditions treated include arteriovenous malformations and cavernomas.

Support is provided to Alder Hey (such conditions being very rare in children).
