BBC Two's Hospital series filming at The Walton Centre

The Liverpool city region has been chosen as the location for the next series of BBC Two’s ‘Hospital’ programme. The series will be filmed across six Liverpool Trusts and we are delighted to be able to take part in this exciting opportunity.  

The other Trusts currently signed up to take part are the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust, Aintree University NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Alder Hey Childrens NHS Foundation Trust.

This will be the fourth series of the programme, which has previously been filmed at hospitals in London and Nottingham.

The production company, called Label 1, will begin filming on Monday 8 October and finish on Sunday 25 November.

There is a comprehensive consent process for all patients, visitors and staff taking part in the filming. You are under no obligation to be filmed.

A member of the production team may approach you to give you some more information.Patients and relatives are under no obligation to take part, and your decision will have no impact on your waiting time or treatment.
