About Andreas Goebel

Dr Andreas Goebel is a Consultant in Pain Medicine at The Walton Centre since 2007. He trained in medicines at the University of Würzburg, Germany and did post-graduate training in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Wuerzburg University Hospitals in Germany following by rotations in Oxford and at UCLH, London. 

He also completed a two-year postdoctoral research period in post-trauma immunology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston MA. 

Dr Goebel also holds the role of Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool.
