COVID-19 restrictions to remain in place at The Walton Centre

Restrictions remain in place across the NHS in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety measures in place over the 18 months therefore remain in place at The Walton Centre - and in our other clinic settings within the community – until further notice.

Due to the increased transmission risk posed by the Omicron variant, visiting has been suspended within The Walton Centre except for exceptional circumstances.

About Brython Hywel

Dr Brython Hywel gained his medical degree at Cardiff University in 2008 before working in north Wales for four years where he undertook his foundation training at Glan Clwyd Hospital and core medical training at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. After completing higher training at The Walton Centre from 2012 to 2019, he started as a Consultant Neurologist in August 2019.

Dr Hywel does neurology clinics and ward reviews at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and EMG and EEG work at The Walton Centre.
