Dr Mahalingham is an experienced neuroanaesthetist with training in India and UK, with subspecialist interests in the field of Functional Neuroanaesthesia, Neuroradiology and training in Neuroanaesthesia. I am a GMC recognised educational supervisor-with special interest in training advanced trainees in Anaesthesia and MTI doctors. I am also a mentor for newly appointed Consultant Anaesthetists. I am the departmental audit lead. I am also an ACSA reviewer for the RCOA.

The Department of Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care consists of specialist doctors in the field of neuro-anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. Approximately half of the consultants also work on the Critical Care Unit at The Walton Centre.
