About Rekha Siripurapu

Dr Rekha Siripurapu is a Consultant Neuroradiologist at The Walton Centre.

Dr Siripurapu graduated from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 2001. After MRCP and FRCR, she did neuroradiology training in Manchester and a fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada. She worked as a Consultant Neuroradiologist at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester (2010 – 2022) before moving to The Walton Centre in December 2022.

She practices all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology with sub-speciality interests in CNS infections, neurovascular and skull base imaging. She established the vessel wall imaging service in Manchester, provided neuroradiology input to the North Manchester Infectious Diseases Unit, Supra Regional Skull Base service and national skull base proton therapy service. 

She is very passionate about post-graduate education and is a British Society of Neuroradiology training and education subcommittee member. She has been invited to speak at many conferences locally, nationally and internationally.
