The Walton Centre has two buildings; the main hospital building and the Sid Watkins Building. Please check your appointment letter to see what building your appointment is in. We are based on the same site as Aintree University Hospital. Car parking

The Walton Centre is based on the same site as Aintree University Hospital, who manages the car parking across the whole site. The majority of car parks on the site operate a ticketless, pay-on-foot system that uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). Please make a note of your car registration number - you will need this to pay. The various machines accept cash and card payment.

Blue Badge Holders

Blue Badge holders may park free of charge. Please park in a marked bay and display your badge. Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is in place.

To obtain free parking, you will need to know your vehicle registration number and have a photograph/copy/screen shot of your badge.

Upon attending or when leaving site, you should advise the receptionist either from the clinic you are attending or at either the main reception desk of the Main Building or Sid Watkins Building that you are blue badge holder.

They will require your vehicle registration number and visual proof of your blue badge, so they can ensure that you can leave the premises free of charge. Saff can only authorise free parking with visual proof and your vehicle registration number.

Please note that Blue Badge holders are not permitted to park on double yellow lines as the hospital site is private land, where this is not covered.

Parking concessions

We operate a parking concession scheme for patients undergoing long term treatment, and/or visitors attending the site frequently.

Concessionary passes must only be used in the designated car park areas.

Site and pedestrian safety

Breach of contract notices are issued where vehicles obstruct access/park indiscriminately. Parking terms and conditions are in place – please park in marked bays only.
