Neuroscience Laboratories
The Neuroscience Laboratories are a suite of laboratories based within The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, providing a comprehensive neurological pathology service. Consisting of three major disciplines; neuropathology, neurobiochemistry and neuroimmunology, the department specialises in assays for the diagnosis of neurological disease and is one of only a handful of specialist diagnostic laboratories in the UK.

The Neurosurgical Division is one of the busiest neurosurgical units in the UK, seeing approximately 9,800 new patients, 3,800 elective patients, and 1,700 emergency inpatients every year.
