Advice, support and  information

Skull Base tumours

Skull Base tumours can be complex. Depending on tumour type and location, symptoms may include: facial palsy, hearing loss, headache, visual problems, tinnitus and  balance disturbance.

Holistic Needs Assessment (HNA)

Emotional, practical, physical and psychological support is available through HNA.

HNA is a conversation between key worker (CNS or support worker) and patient/carer. Following the discussion a care plan is agreed and created.

A copy is given to the  patient, one kept in medical notes and a copy is sent to GP.

HNA can be completed at any point in your pathway.
