About Graham Powell

Dr Graham Powell is a Consultant Neurologist at The Walton Centre with specialist interest in epilepsy. 

He completed his postgraduate clinical neurology training in The Walton Centre. He has a clinical interest in general neurology and epilepsy and runs clinics in The Walton Centre and clinics and ward consultations in Wrexham Maelor Hospital. 

Dr Powell has an interest in research and medical education. During his neurology training he was awarded a Clinical Training Fellowship from the Medical Research Council and completed research and clinical training in epilepsy, leading to the award of PhD. He is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and Neurosciences Education Lead in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
