Patient Pass is the new referral management system taking over from Orion, for all Neurology RANA, Neurology On Call and Neurosurgical Emergency referrals from 8.30am Wednesday 26 November 2025
Access to Neurology RANA, Neurology On Call and Neurosurgical Emergency referrals advice and support
All Neurology RANA, Neurology On Call and Neurosurgical Emergency referrals at The Walton Centre must be completed via Patient Pass.
Referrals for advice on inpatients are screened daily by the neurosurgery team, but for any time critical advice you can still follow any referral with a phone call to the on-call team via Switchboard (0151 525 3611).
How do I create an account?
You can create your Patient Pass account to send a referral to The Walton Centre, by following this ‘Getting started with Patient Pass’ guide.
Please note, a valid NHS.net or organisational email address will be required. This will be live from Wednesday 26th November at 08:30am.
