Dr Perry Moore

Dr Perry Moore is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and is the Head of Neuropsychology at The Walton Centre.

After graduating from the doctoral training programme at the University of Bristol he worked in acute regional neuroscience services in Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester as well as at the The Walton Centre.

He has received a British Psychological Society Early Career Award for his contribution to neuropsychology in the UK and has been made a Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He continues to support the development and maintaining of standards and professional practice in neuropsychology at a national level as Vice-Chair of the BPS Division of Neuropsychology Professional Standards Unit.

Although primarily working as a clinician, Dr Moore conducts and contributes to a range of research projects encompassing neuropsychology. He has published over 40 research articles and supports current research programmes with a grant income of approximately £4.4M as a co-investigator.

He is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, providing teaching and support to clinical training programmes and research programmes. He is also a guest lecturer at various UK institutions including regular lecturing on teaching programmes at the University of Manchester and University of Bristol.

He has provided consultation to the UK government on issues including employment support for people with neurological conditions and has authored national guidance on issues relating to clinical neuropsychology practice.

In addition to his work at The Walton Centre he is a trustee of The Brain Charity.
