About Kariem Elhadd
Dr Kariem Elhadd is a Consultant Neurologist and Sleep Medicine Specialist at The Walton Centre with over a decade of experience in the care of individuals liv ing with neurological and sleep disorders. He was awarded his medical degree with distinction from The University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. He undertook his extensive medical and higher neurology specialist training in the north west of England including at The Walton Centre.
Dr Elhadd’s clinical experience is enriched through two prestigious fellowships in Neuroimmunology and Sleep Disorders at nationally recognised centres of excellence. Alongside his training he pursued Postgraduate Degrees in Sleep Medicine from the University of Oxford and advanced studies in Clinical Neurology at University College London. Dr Elhadd also achieved formal credentialling as a sleep medicine specialist from the European Sleep Research Society and Board of Registered Polysomnography Technicians.
He has a passion for the history of medicine and advancing understanding and treatment of conditions that affect the brain and sleep. Since September 2024 he has been working as a Consultant at The Walton Centre with a special interest in neurological sleep disorders.

- MBBS, MRCP(UK)(CCT)(Neurology), RPSGT, ESRS accredited Expert Somnologist, PGDip in Sleep Medicine (Oxon)
