Education and learning

 

The Education Department is located in the Education Centre, Sid Watkins Building. As an integrated education function, we comprise of Training and Development and Medical Education and the team are committed to providing first class service and training, development and educational opportunities to staff. In brief, the department provides the following: 

  • Trust induction
  • Mandatory and statutory training
  • Continued professional development and all other non-medical study leave
  • Organisational development
  • Leadership development
  • Vocational learning, including work placements and apprenticeships
