Mr Jahangir Sajjad MBBS, BSc, MRCS, FRCS(SN), FEBNS, PhD

Mr Jahangir Sajjad is a Consultant Neurosurgeon specialising in skull base, neurovascular, and complex cranial surgery. He provides expert care in the management of brain tumours, aneurysms, Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs), skull base tumours, and other complex cranial conditions such as Chiari Malformation and Hydrocephalus. He also contributes to the consultant on-call rota, treating all aspects of emergency neurosurgery.

Mr Sajjad completed his specialist neurosurgical training through the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and subsequently undertook advanced Post-CCT Fellowships in Skull Base/Neurovascular Surgery (Bristol) and Complex Spine Surgery (Leeds). He holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Surgical Neurology (FRCS SN) and is a fellow of European Board of Neurological Surgery (FEBNS).

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Sajjad has a strong academic background. He holds a PhD in Anatomy & Neuroscience, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and regularly presents at national and international meetings. He is involved in teaching, course facilitation, and multi-centre audit projects aimed at improving neurosurgical outcomes.
