Neurosurgery
Within the Neurosurgery service there are over 20 Consultant Neurosurgeons, five Consultant Orthopaedic surgeons and 27 specialist nurses working alongside allied health professionals (AHPs) to deliver specialist services at The Walton Centre and at nine satellites sites at partner trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside, the Isle of Man and Wales.
Our Neurosurgery Division is one of the biggest and busiest in the UK, performing over 2,600 elective surgical cases, around 1,500 emergency surgical cases and 2,000 day case procedures each year.
