About Mark Kellett
Dr Mark Kellett is Chief Medical Officer and a Consultant Neurologist at The Walton Centre.
Mark graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne University and completed his specialist training at The Walton Centre in 2000. During his registrar training he completed a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) on the genetics of Parkinson's disease and developed a sub-specialist interest in movement disorders.
His clinical work includes general neurology and he has a specialist interest in Movement Disorders, Parkinson's Disease and Botulinum toxin therapy.
Mark has been a Consultant Neurologist for more than 25 years. He was appointed as Chief Medical Officer at The Walton Centre in 2026. Previously, he was Salford Care Organisation Medical Director at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to his role as Medical Director, he was Chair of the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences at Salford Royal Hospital.
