Liverpool Citizens

The Trust is a founding member of the Liverpool Citizens Chapter which is one of twenty Citizens UK Chapters nationally. They bring everyday people and local organisations together to win change by developing community-led solutions that work for everyone on issues that matter to them and their lives. Local projects can grow into national campaigns e.g. Housing and Homelessness, Mental Health, Welcoming Refugees, Pathways to Citizenship, Climate Justice.

Citizens UK is the UK's biggest, most diverse, and most effective people-powered alliance. They bring communities and local organisations together through community organising, to build a better, fairer society to win change that works for everyone on issues that matter. It is based on the principle that we have 'more in common' than divides us. By listening to people about the issues that matter in their lives and building relationships of trust between people from different walks of life, community organising works to build 'people power'.
